Extended range and better performance, without sacrificing the proven all-round characteristics of the Mirage series – that was precisely Swing’s goal in developing the Mirage 2 RS!
Through meticulous research and development over a period of two years, Swing’s passionate development team has succeeded in extending the scope of the glide from “extremely steep” to the best glide performance and usable speed range, while retaining the character and safe feeling of its predecessor.
This is mainly made possible by a new, incredibly stable performance profile, with Nitinol-reinforced leading edge in combination with Swing’s patented RAST system, which has been optimally adapted to the Mirage 2 RS.
The new, lightweight risers, equipped with Split-A Riser and a C-Bride, give you maximum control and precise steering over the entire trim range.
In response to popular demand from the speedriding community, Swing has reissued the proven Spitfire 2 plus with the Spitfire Classic in sizes 7 to 11, in addition to the comparatively more performant Spitfire 3.
The Spitfire Classic is essentially based on the basic design of its predecessor.
Inspired by your feedback Swing has replaced the T-trimmer handle with a Nitinol trimmer loop for better usability and extended the trimmer travel to 12 cm.
The trimmer strap is equipped with a dart at 9 cm, which can be opened by experienced pilots for the ultimate dive. The Spitfire Classic is aimed at passionate speed riders who don’t want to compromise on the stability of the well-proven Spitfire 2 Plus concept. This allows you to focus fully on your line with lots of fun, even on the steepest powder slopes when big-mountain riding.
Whether on steep “big mountain” powder slopes, or low proximity through the terrain – redefine speedriding for yourself with the Spitfire 3. You get a high-end setup for ultimate control, playful dynamics and versatility on any terrain.
The next development of the legendary Spitfire series was a commitment by SWING to meet the demands of the loyal Spitfire fan base. The smaller sizes of the Spitfire 3 are dedicated all-mountain speedriders for experienced, intuitive riders who want to draw their signature into the terrain without compromise. The larger sizes of the Spitfire 3 guarantee a safe and forgiving entry into the world of speed riding, with a fast learning curve and lots of fun.
The redesigned canopy of the Spitfire 3, with its Nitinol-reinforced leading edge and optimised power transmission via V-Ribs, results in unmatched steering precision – ideal for extreme terrain and difficult conditions. The Spitfire 3 remains resistant to disturbances and therefore stays on the ground even when riding on very steep and difficult lines and reacts progressively to input with lift when required, even in slow deep powder. The new grippy riser with C-bridge and split A-riser offer the ultimate control in flight, riding and kiting, even with thick winter gloves.

The Apus RS is the first mini wing to feature RAST technology. The system was optimized further for lightweight gliders in order to increase stability and to reduce movement in turbulence. This results in a more comfortable feeling during flight and a significant increase in performance. Furthermore, the Apus RS launches effectively and safely on high-alpine launch sites!
With a projected surface area of 14 to 25m and weighing as little as 2.5kg, the Apus RS is suitable for alpine adventures. Hike & Fly, or simply as a lightweight second wing for traveling, or some flying fun from time to time. The Apus RS is also available in a more durable fabric, for those pilots not concerned about every last gram of weight. The version extends its range to use further (e.g. coastal soaring). Depending on the wing load, the Apus RS can be used for both pleasant thermal flying and also for flying in strong winds and dynamic turns. The choice is yours!
The APUS RS is an all-terrain miniwing and the universal tool for guaranteed fun for practically any occasion.
Depending on the version (APUS RS or APUS RS Hike), it has a number of uses ranging from soaring in strong winds to dynamic flying at your local site, right through to Hike & Fly tours. What’s more, it will fit perfectly in your luggage thanks to its packed size and light weight.
This means the APUS RS is intended for all paraglider pilots and keen miniwing pilots, for whom the desire for adventure and a passion for flying have top priority.
The APUS RS is available in standard and hike versions. The design of the hike version has been weight-optimised even further. The APUS RS Hike uses a 27g material throughout for the top and bottom surfaces, instead of the combination of 41 and 34g paraglider fabric. Furthermore, extremely lightweight Dyneema risers with soft links are used rather than conventional risers. The 27g fabric has limited availability, so the APUS RS Hike is available only in the red/blue colour combination. Special colours can be ordered only for the standard version.
