An ultralight evolution of the Rapido series for experienced speed pilots.
The new Rapido 3X (R3X) is an uncompromising speedwing created for intermediate-to-advanced level pilots seeking high performance and low pack-weight.
It is an evolution of the Rapido 3, with increased roll sensitivity, reduced weight, and more precise riser controls. The significantly shorter line length and wider piloting stance serve speedriders as well as foot-launch pilots seeking a more capable wing for both summer and winter flying.

Hike & Fly
The R3X is noticeably lighter, with a lower pack volume for long ascents. No-wind inflations are immediate and simple, and widened pulley attachments allow a more natural running stance when navigating technical launches.
On Snow
The R3X’s significantly shortened line-set facilitates sharp, precise speedriding turns and the reduced sail inertia makes for a more responsive canopy. These improvements have led to the best connection between wing and skis that we have ever experienced. The wide piloting stance is ideal for active skiing, and the addition of ball-grabs to the redesigned toggles allow for comfortable piloting, even in winter gloves.
Materials & Design
The R3X combines ultralight Skytex 27g fabric with lightweight risers and soft-link attachments to maximize glider sensitivity and reduce sail inertia.
New toggles with optional ball-grabs improve comfort and brake precision, and a redesigned B/C bridge provides frictionless trim manipulation and enhanced riser-piloting accuracy.
The Pilot
The R3X is recommended for pilots with intermediate-to-advanced-level prior Speedflying experience. Its weight-shift sensitivity, light risers & sail, and accelerated inflation characteristics are all designed with experienced speedflyers in mind. Speedriders should consider the R3X after a minimum of 2 seasons of experience. The R3X provides optimal ski-performance with trims released by ⅓ or more, so pilots should be comfortable maintaining snow contact at higher speeds prior to speedriding this sensitive wing.It is available in five sizes: 5.9m / 6.5m / 8m / 9m and 11m

FABRIC COLOURS AND UV RESISTANCE
Please be aware that the colour you see on your screen may not accurately represent the precise fabric color. Secondly, different cloths specifications with the same color name may vary slightly. Given the wide variance in monitor calibration and the fabric appearance in different light and colour combinations, it is impossible to perfectly represent fabric colour on-screen. If you have any doubts about the colours, look at photos of various wings on our website to see them in different light and colour combinations.
All of the fabric that we use undergoes extensive testing in prototype color phase to ensure colorfastness, mechanical stability, porosity, and general longevity before we put it into production. Once our fabric is in production, every meter of it is rigorously inspected upon arrival in our factory, and fabric which does not pass our stringent quality control standards is returned to the manufacturer. We are frequently asked, "Which colours last the longest, or have the best UV resistance?" All of the colours that we stock score between 4 and 5 on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest possible rating for longevity.
